Just seven months after launch, our affordable housing Public Benefit Option (PBO) in St. Kitts & Nevis is already considered a tremendous success.
We would like to sincerely thank the RCBI professionals who recognized its value early and continue to support its success.
Launched in June 2025, the ClientReferrals-National Housing Corporation PBO may already be the most impactful CIP project in the program’s history, both economically and socially.

By the PBO’s first anniversary, nearly 50 low-income families will have moved into new homes funded through this option.

These homes are being planned and built entirely by local professionals, using locally produced materials wherever possible; directly supporting jobs, skills development, and community resilience.

This progress would not have been possible without our partners. It is by supporting projects that have a real impact in the host country that we contribute to the sustainability and stability of our RCBI industry. Jobs must be created, and our programs must improve lives; the success of our PBO is proof that we can have win-win projects for all parties involved.

By offering this option to clients, you have helped demonstrate that programs with real, local impact can – and should – coexist with investor value, social responsibility, and national development.
A Public Benefit Option with Immediate, Real-World Impact
The CR-NHC PBO is designed to expand access to affordable, quality housing for working families in St. Kitts & Nevis. Contributions made through this option directly support:
- Improved living conditions for local families
- Community development and social stability
- Job creation in the construction and housing sectors
The impact has been immediate:
- Construction has begun on 40+ homes, with an additional 10–20 scheduled for Q1 2026
- Approximately 100 local tradespeople and professionals are already engaged
- 40–50 families are expected to move into their new homes by Q2 2026
The project is well on its way to accomplishing its goal of building 100-150 new homes in St Kitts and Nevis.
The Essential Role of RCBI Professionals
These results are a direct reflection of the dedication of RCBI firms and their teams. Our partners have gone well beyond distribution by:
- Educating clients on the social impact and long-term value of the PBO
- Positioning it as a purpose-driven investment choice, not merely an alternative
- Maintaining the highest standards of compliance, due diligence, and transparency
Much of this work happens behind the scenes: Document collection, translations, certifications, application management, and ongoing client communication.
While often unseen, this effort is fundamental to the success of both the project and the program. Every approved application represents not just a file completed, but a meaningful contribution to a family and a community.
A Strong Value Proposition for CIP Investors
From an investor perspective, the CR-NHC Public Benefit Option offers clear advantages:
- Immediate, visible social impact, with construction already well underway
- Government-run structure, overseen by the CIU and the National Housing Corporation
- Simplicity and security, with contributions paid directly to the CIU
“The CIU is committed to working with partners who demonstrate proven results and a shared dedication to the prosperity and quality of life of all citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis. The initiative embodies the next phase of our development, not only in strengthening the Citizenship by Investment Programme, but in ensuring it continues to deliver meaningful outcomes for our communities,”- CIU Executive Chairman H.E Calvin St. Juste.
Looking Ahead
Investment migration is under increasingly significant pressure, and as global standards evolve and scrutiny of Citizenship by Investment Programs increases, models like the CR-NHC PBO underscore why St. Kitts & Nevis remains a leader in the space.
Sustained success will depend on strong governance, transparency, and continued collaboration between public institutions and RCBI professionals.
To those who have supported this initiative: thank you. You have helped prove that economic development, social impact, and investor confidence can thrive together. Our work is not finished; we still have more homes to build, and we look forward to continuing this journey with you.
